Patented Integrated Autofeed

The MDU3-30AF features Pentruder’s patented integrated Autofeed system. Unlike external feed units, the Autofeed is fully integrated into the motor:

• Less mechanical and electrical interfaces
• Fewer parts and connectors
• Instant reaction to drilling resistance

Slip clutch is electronically monitored every microsecond and feed pressure adjusts immediately. The result is fast reaction with very soft machine behavior.

Drill depth is programmable and monitored electronically.

Integrated 3-Phase Drive – No Power Pack Needed

The MDU3 platform features fully integrated 3-phase drive and control electronics. No external power pack is required. This reduces transport weight, setup time and cable complexity on site.

Electronically Monitored Slip-Clutch

The monitored slip-clutch in the rotor minimizes overload and maximizes durability. This electronic supervision protects the machine and increases service life under demanding conditions.
